The Court also highlighted shortcomings in the Swiss legal framework governing private investigations. Subsequently, in a ruling of 14 July 2017, the Swiss Federal Supreme Court held that <strong>disability insurance<\/strong> lacked a sufficiently clear and detailed legal basis to conduct surveillance of insured persons suspected of abuse.
